East Cottonwood Street

Coleman, Texas

This street page contains a description of this street, located in Coleman, Texas, together with the numbers numerically arranged.  It also shows the intersections, whereever the different streets cross.  These addresses are linked to other pages which contain information, photos, etc., when available, about the people and homes or buildings that have been at that address, at different time periods, with the source of information given.

East Cottonwood Street is the 1st street north of Live Oak Street.
It begins at North Commercial Avenue and extended east.

Other than the 1929 Coleman City directory references, I have found no references to East Cottonwood Street.  The street being referred to by the city directory as East Cottonwood Street would have began on the northeast side of the courthouse square and extended east, from south of the City Electric Plant, across North Colorado Street (and the railway track) and further east.  Apparently there was some sort of street with houses and businesses here in 1929, but were apparently damaged or moved after the flood of 1932.
